a week agoI love this place for any meal. Lots of choices for breakfast; good western omelet with great hash browns. Chicken salad for lunch and all you can eat fish on Wednesdays & Fridays. Check it out on Cleveland Rd.

a month agoOut first time in and probably our last. Nice looking restaurant, food was decent but the waitress never smiled took our order, brought our food, no rolls as the menu said I should have gotten, never came beck to check and when she did came back and asked my husband if he wanted more water he said yes and she poured, he was trying to tell her we wanted dessert, but she turned walked away and came back tossed the bill on the table and left. When we left we told who we assumed was the manager of our experience he said “oh she is one of my best waitress”. He never offered us a dessert to go, which we would have gladly purchased, but nothing. I told him this was our first time visiting Farmer Boy, and if that was his best waitress we will make that the last time we visit.

3 months agoMy family's absolute favorite local spot for all-day breakfast! We eat here a couple times a month! It's super affordable, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the food has that classic mom-and-pop style. What more could you ask for?

4 months agoThis place is excellent. After the 2023? 2024? Fire they rebuilt and came storming back with the same home cooked menu. Country fried steak covered in brown gravy. 2 OM eggs, hash browns add onions and AM cheese, wheat toast, water, hot cocoa with whipped cream! Love this. Omlets are also great. Oh.. and the "Hillbilly Breakfast and French Hillbilly... check out their page for a look at the menu! I'll add pics next time we go! (The cook seem to know what they're doing and the wait staff are always on their toes.

5 months agoOur food was fresh and tasty. Our server was very attentive and very friendly. We had a great dining experience. Great food. It's a cozy calm atmosphere. Very nice place to eat. Friendly staff great food. Thanks for a great visit for me and my family.

10 months agoThe food was absolutely amazing!! The waitress we had interacted and allowed my 3 year old to place his own order and talked to him! I forget her name but she was absolutely amazing. Could have less whipped cream on top of the Mickey pancakes.

a year agoHere visiting and I was looking for a place with a really good breakfast I came across farmer boy and had to try it. I came for breakfast and of course it was everything I wanted it to be I got the French hillbilly breakfast and it was amazing my server brandy was super nice and food came out fast. I came back for dinner because she said the burgers were amazing, so I got the farmer boy deluxe and oh my gosh this burger is so good!!!!! The atmosphere is great and the service is top tier!!! If you are in Wooster, Ohio make this your stop!!!

Edited 4 months agoUpdate: I hadn't been here for a few months so I stopped by today for an early dinner. There were only 4 other tables occupied. I ordered a hamburger medium rare when she asked. It took 40 mins to get the food which is so strange for them. The hamburger was overcooked. I tried to get her attention or someones attention with no avail. So I still ate it as I was now on a time crunch. By time an hour had passed I decided to walk up to the counter to get my check. When I told the cashier about my experience she just rang up my bill and didn't offer any solution. Just a sorry. That is super unfortunate and seems so strange for this place. I'm disappointed in this experience today and have adjusted my rating accordingly. Skip here if you are in a time crunch and it is in-between lunch and dinner hours. I hadn't been here in years so I decided to stop when I was by it. The breakfast was huge and delicious. Great prices. Now that I work out here, I see a bunch of things that I would like to try. Service was a little off. I stood waiting for a seat for a while with a bunch of the staff passing by not saying hi, not telling me if there will be a wait, nothing. Just let me stand there until what I assumed by her clothing was a manager? It was difficult to get a coffee refill. Other waitresses had the coffee carafe going to their tables. It was odd that they would just pass me. I feel like other places like this, whomever has the coffee goes around warming coffee up no matter if it is their table or not. But maybe it is different here? So that was weird. All in all, I would try again. Maybe it was just an off day.
